The Nebraska Department of Education requires each teacher and administrator of education to pass the Praxis 1 Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST), in order to obtain a teacher or administrator certificate. Colleges and Universities in the State of Nebraska usually require this test just to get approval to enter the teacher program.
The Praxis I is one of Nebraska States 3 main requirements for obtaining licensure for teaching.
Scores must be submitted directly from the publisher of the test, or the Institutional Score Report, or complete the verification of 3 years or more of successive teaching experience and a copy of teaching/administrative certificate valid during the same years.
Nebraska State requires your Social Security Number (SSN) for application for a teaching and administrative certificate.
