Students seeking a professional educators certification in the State of Delaware, are required to take the PPST (Praxis 1) or Pre Professional Skills Tests in order to secure a certificate. It doesn't matter if you take the paper-based exam or the computer-based exams, but you must have passing scores in all three areas in order to enter the teaching program.
The Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST) is established in the State of Delaware as an appropriate basic skills test for entering any teaching program in the state.
The Praxis examination can be taken once each calendar month for a total of 6 maximum times in one year (12 month period). This restriction applies to canceled scores of any prior tests.
