The Praxis I (1) Examination is required by the State of Maryland for All Areas of Teaching. There are other test scores that will work in place of the PRAXIS I PRE-Professional Skills Test (PPST) or the Computer PPST (CPPST). Requirements are listed below.
The State of Maryland requires the use of your Social Security Number (SSN) in order to process your Teacher Certification paperwork. The Educational Testing Service (ETS) administers the tests through the Prometric Testing Centers.
