The Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST) is required for all applicants in the State of Nevada applying for initial teacher licensure. The PRAXIS I is a competency test administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service), in Paper-Based and Computer-Based formats.
You must meet the Praxis 1 Test score requirements for the State of Nevada, set by the Nevada Commission on Professional Standards in Education (NCPSE).

The Praxis i Test can be taken one time per month, up to 6 times per year, even if you have cancelled a score. We would like to help you pass the first time you take it, with our on-line test preparation site. For your study and review convenience, you can access this site from any computer that has the internet.
If you choose to take the Computer-Based Praxis 1(CPPST) you will need to make an appointment and find a test site through Prometric Testing Centers at www.prometric.com. For more information go to www.ets.org.
