There are a few different methods to getting approval to enter Higher Education Institutions for the Teacher Education Program in the State of Oklahoma. One of these ways is to Pass the Praxis 1 Examination or Pre-Professional-Skills-Test (PPST).
If you choose the Praxis I as your entry method, you can either take the Paper-Based Test, or the Computer-Based Test. Either way the Praxis 1 test scores required for entry into a teacher education program are the same. You must meet the minimum required scores or you will need to retest.
For Paper-Based Praxis i Exams:
0710 PPST Reading 173
0720 PPST Writing 172
0730 PPST Mathematics 171
(No Calculators)
For Computer-Based Praxis 1 Tests:
5710 CPPST Reading 173

If you find out that you need to take and pass the Praxis I test, which is the most widely used and accepted teacher competency test nation-wide, let us help you prepare. You are allowed to take the test one time per month up to 6 times per year, including cancelled scores. Let us help you pass the score the first time, and eliminate the need for the wait and the worry.
