All applicants in all areas applying for an Oregon State Initial Teaching License, must present scores from a basic skills knowledge test. You can choose from the Praxis I Pre-Professional-Skills-Test (PPST), or the CBEST, or the WEST-B, unless you have official transcripts of a regionally accredited doctorate degree.
One of these tests is also required if you are planning on renewing your Substitute Teaching License in the State of Oregon.
The following scores are required, in order for the Praxis I Test to count for the basic skills knowledge test upon application.
